What features will the discontinuation of Tokens impact?
This will impact Digital Goods, Creator Gifting, and Bitmoji Fashion. Digital Goods in Lenses will no longer be supported after Tokens are discontinued, we will maintain access to your Lens Digital Goods for 90 days after Tokens are discontinued. After those 90 days, you may lose access to all Digital Goods you have previously unlocked. Sending Gifts to Creators will no longer be supported. Bitmoji Fashion purchases will continue to be supported with in-app purchases even after Tokens are discontinued.
What will happen to my remaining Token balance?
You have until 60 days after you received the in-app notification about your Tokens to redeem them and use up your remaining balance.
How can I redeem my remaining Tokens?
We recommend you redeem any remaining Tokens on Bitmoji Fashion items because your Bitmoji Fashion purchases will continue to be supported even after Tokens are discontinued. There are Bitmoji Fashion items currently available for as low as 20 Tokens! After Tokens are discontinued (or after you use up your remaining Tokens— whichever is sooner) you will be able to continue making Bitmoji Fashion purchases with in-app purchases.
You can also redeem your remaining Tokens by redeeming Digital Goods in a Lens or sending Gifts to creators, but these will no longer be supported by Snapchat after Tokens are discontinued.
What if I want to buy a Bitmoji Fashion item that costs more than my remaining Tokens balance?
If you want to buy a Bitmoji Fashion item that’s more expensive than your remaining balance, you should first redeem an item you’re able to purchase using your current balance. Once you no longer have any Tokens left, you’ll automatically be able to buy Bitmoji Fashion items with in-app purchases.
