How does Snapchat determine who is eligible to participate in the Spotlight Reward Program?

Snapchatters have the opportunity to receive rewards if they, and their Spotlight Snaps, meet certain eligibility criteria during the Eligibility Period. The "Eligibility Period" means the preceding calendar month calculated using Pacific Time.

Creator Eligibility

To be considered a "Qualifying Creator," you must meet all of the following criteria during the Eligibility Period:

1. You must be a legal resident of an Eligible Country
2. You must have your Profile set to Public
3. Your Snapchat account must be at least one month old
4. You must have at least 1,000 followers

Spotlight Snap Eligibility

To be considered "Qualifying Snaps," the Snaps that you successfully submitted to Spotlight during the Eligibility Period must meet all of the following criteria:

1. They must have have accumulated at least 10,000 total unique video views
2. They must have included at least 10 unique Snaps submitted on at least 5 different days
3. They must have consisted of at least 5 Snaps utilizing Snapchat Creative Tools (e.g., Lenses, Filters, Sounds).

Please Note: In order to be eligible for payment, submissions must comply with the Community Guidelines, Content Guidelines for Recommendation Eligibility, Music on Snapchat Guidelines, Terms of Service, and our Spotlight Terms. Any Snaps you delete from Spotlight won't be eligible for payment. Business Accounts, brands, and advertisements are not eligible for payment.
