Why can’t I change my birthday?
- You can only change your birthday a limited number of times. If you see the ‘Hey, Time Traveler’ error message when you try to change your birthday, you may have already updated it too many times by now. You will not be able to change your birthday again.
- If you’re under 18 according to your current birthday in Snapchat, you can’t change your birthday.
Snapchat Support cannot change your birthday for you in most cases.
How do I change my birthday?
If you want to change your birthday and haven't hit any limits yet, follow the steps below:
- Tap the gear icon ⚙️ on your Profile screen to open Settings
- Tap ‘My Account,’ then tap ‘Birthday’
- Select your correct birthday from the calendar wheel
- Tap ‘Continue’ to confirm the change
