How do I access my Snapchat data?
There are two main ways to access most of your data:
1. You can access and update important account information like your name, email address, phone number, and Bitmoji in the Snapchat app. Just tap the gear icon ⚙️ at the top of your Profile to open Settings.
2. To access other data, like the date your account was created and which devices have logged into your account, you can visit accounts.snapchat.com or scroll to ‘Account Actions’ in Settings, and then follow the steps below.
- Make sure you’re logged into your Snapchat account on accounts.snapchat.com . You can also get to this page from the Snapchat app by going to Settings and selecting ‘My Data.’
- Click ‘My Data.’
- Select the data you would like to include in your data download.
- Choose the date range of data you’d like to receive or toggle this off if you want to receive all data. Note that longer time ranges and larger downloads take longer to process.
- Confirm the email address you’d like to be notified at.
- Click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the page.
- We’ll send you an email with a link once your data is ready to download. Or, you can view your recent exports here.
- Select ‘See exports,’ then ‘Download’ to export and download your data.
What types of information are available in the Snapchat app?
Your key account information is available in the Snapchat app. This includes your name, username, birthday, mobile number, email, Snapscore, Snapchatters you’ve blocked, Memories, Bitmoji, Snapcode, your orders (like custom Filters and Lenses), and information about Spectacles.
In the app, you can also update your privacy settings, ad preferences, lifestyle categories, permissions, Our Story management, and Snap Map settings.
What types of information are available for download in ‘My Data?’
For the most complete and current list of the kinds of information that are available in ‘My Data,’ please visit accounts.snapchat.com. Here are some of the categories of data you'll be able to find in your ‘Download My Data’ file.

How do I download my Memories?
To request a Memories-only Snapchat export, follow these steps.
- Log in to your account on accounts.snapchat.com. (You can also get to this page from the Snapchat app by going to Settings and selecting ‘My Data.’
- Click ‘My Data.’
- Under ‘Select data to include,’ toggle ‘Export your Memories’ to on.
- Click ‘Request Only Memories.’
- Select the date range of data you’d like to receive. Note that longer time ranges and larger downloads take more time to process.
- Confirm the email address you’d like to be notified at when your export is ready.
- Click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the page.
- We’ll send you an email with a link once your data is ready to download. Or, you can view your recent exports here.
- Select ‘See exports,’ then ‘Download’ to export your data.
How long does it take to export or download ‘My Data?’
If you choose to download your data from accounts.snapchat.com, it can take varying amounts of time to process your request, depending on the size of your download. We strive to deliver data within 7 days, but large downloads can take longer. Please bear with us while your request finishes processing.
