What is a Public Profile?
Public Profiles enable Snapchatters ages 18 and older to become more discoverable and grow an audience on Snapchat. Public Profiles grant access to tools like showcasing Stories, Lenses, and Follower Count to enable you to connect and grow with the wider Snapchat community.
How can I tell if I have a Public Profile?
Tap your Bitmoji or Story icon at the top left of your screen to view your profile. If you see the option to tap 'My Public Profile,' you have a Public Profile.
Is my Public Profile the same as a Business Profile?
Business Profiles are used by brands of all sizes to feature their unique Snapchat assets and content. Business Profiles can only be created or managed by you in Ads Manager. Business Profiles are not created for you by Snapchat.
How do I get a '+ Add' button/creator features?
To get a '+ Add' button, you need to have a Creator Account. To get a Creator Account, you must have a Public Profile and have grown an audience by being an active poster on your Stories and Spotlight.
How do I get verified as a Snap Star?
We consider many factors to determine an account’s eligibility for a Snap Star. In addition to abiding by Snap's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, these factors include the following:
