I can’t change my username
You can change your Snapchat username once a year. If you’ve already changed it this year, you’ll have to wait until next year to change it again.
However, you can change your Display Name whenever you like, as often as you like!
Please Note: Snapchat Support cannot change your username for you.
I can’t change my birthday
There are a couple of reasons why you may not be able to change your birthday:
- If you’re under 18 according to your current birthday in Snapchat, you can’t change your birth year.
- If you’ve changed your birthday before, you may have changed it too many times by now. You can only change your birthday a limited number of times.
Please Note: Snapchat Support cannot change your birthday for you.
I can’t delete my account
For security reasons, we have protections in place to ensure account actions are not taken by an unauthorized user, so if you’re asked to wait 72 hours before trying to delete your account again, be sure to do so using the same device.
Follow these steps to delete your account:
- Log in to the Snapchat accounts portal
- Tap 'Delete my account'
- Input your password
- Tap 'Continue' to confirm account deactivation/deletion
I lost Snaps saved to My Eyes Only
My Eyes Only adds an extra layer of protection to Snaps you want to keep private. Unfortunately, this means that any Snaps lost from My Eyes only are not recoverable.
To respect your privacy, Snapchat Support cannot recover forgotten My Eyes Only passcodes or deleted Snaps for you.
