Why am I being asked for a code to log in?
If you’re being asked for a code to log in, it could be because you set up two-factor authentication (2FA). 2FA adds a step to the login process to help protect the security of your Snapchat account. When you have two-factor authentication turned on and you log in to Snapchat you’ll always be asked to enter a Login Code.
Or, it could be an extra security step that Snapchat takes, usually if you’re logging in from a new or unrecognized device. This helps confirm the account belongs to you. When triggered, Snapchat sends a verification code to one of the contact methods linked to your account: your phone number or your email. Try logging in from a device or Wi-Fi network you've used before with this account. Please note you cannot always choose the method of verification.
What do I do if I lost my phone and can’t access any verification methods?
If you lost your phone (or switched devices) and you're locked out, first try your recovery code. If you created one when you set up 2FA, enter your username and password, tap 'Log In,' then enter your recovery code when prompted. This also turns off two-factor authentication.

Why am I getting a “Too many requests” error after trying to get an SMS verification code?
This error is usually a temporary block caused by requesting too many SMS codes or making multiple login attempts in a short window. To fix this, try waiting a few minutes and ensure your network connection is stable before attempting to log in again.
