Snaps that are posted to Snap Map may be viewable for different amounts of time — some for only a day or two, while others can be seen for much longer 📆
Automated systems monitor Snaps submitted to Snap Map — it's hard to say if and when your Snap will appear 🙈 Please note that selfies, user mentions, Camera roll, or Memories content will not make it to the Snap Map.
To increase the chance of your Snap making it to the Map, try to capture what’s happening around you! We're looking for Snaps that provide a window into everyday life such as a place or an event in your community!
To post a Snap to Snap Map…
- Create a Snap 📸
- Select 'Snap Map' at the top of the 'Send To' screen ☑️
- Tap the
button to submit!
If you’re over 18, you can choose to share a Snap to Snap Map without your name attached to it by toggling the 'Share Anonymously' toggle on. Anonymously shared Snaps will not contain your name and will not be attached to your Public Profile. After you submit to Snap Map, you can’t retroactively change the ‘Share Anonymously’ setting.
