I'm having trouble verifying my email address or mobile number
If you can't verify your email address or mobile number, start here to fix common verification issues:
- Open 'Settings'
- Under 'My Account,' tap 'Email Address' or 'Mobile Number'
- Update your info and tap 'Verify'
- Follow the on-screen steps
Only one email address and mobile number can be verified per Snapchat account. The same contact information cannot be shared across multiple accounts.
I didn't get a verification code
- Wait a few minutes, then request a new code
- Check your email's spam or junk folder
- Make sure your mobile has reception and text from unknown senders isn't blocked
I'm getting asked to "validate" after sign-in
If you can sign in, but you see a prompt to validate your email address or mobile number, update your contact information in 'Settings' to complete verification.
Can I verify without my email address or my mobile number?
You need access to at least one verified contact method (email address or mobile number) to verify your account or reset your password.
If you've lost access to both the email address and mobile number associated with your account, you won't be able to reset your password or log in to your account.
