If I’m between 13 and 18 years old, how can my parent or guardian verify consent?
You may need to share your age with the App Store on iOS or the Play Store on Android. We verify your age using information shared by Apple or Google.

iOS:
- After you verify your phone or email during sign up, you may see a prompt about your eligibility to use Snapchat
- Tap ‘Share Age Range’ to continue
- If you haven’t used this feature before, your parent or guardian will need to help you set up Age Range for Apps
Android:
- After you verify your phone or email during sign up, you may see a prompt about your eligibility to use Snapchat
- Your parent or guardian will need to set up supervision so that you can update your Google account to meet age requirements
