What are Creator Subscriptions, and how do they work?
When you subscribe to a Creator, you'll get access to subscription-based. content and other benefits, including direct Snaps, subscriber-only Stories, and priority replies to the creator's public stories.
How do direct Snaps from Creators work?
Creators can send Snaps to all their subscribers that will show up in your Chat feed. Keep in mind that Creators can see if you replay or screenshot subscriber Snaps.
After you subscribe, if you don’t open a subscription Snap, it stays available until you open it. After you open it, it's viewable for however long the Creator sets.
How do Subscription Stories from Creators work?
As a subscriber, a Creator's story (both Public and Subscription) will now appear in your Friend's carousel in the Stories tab. Stories from the Creator that have a padlock icon on them and a blue story ring contain a subscriber-only Story. Please note that the Subscription Story Snaps will be mixed in with the Creator's Public Story.
How do Priority Story Replies work?
As a subscriber, Story Replies you send to the Creator's public content will be prioritised higher on the Creator's list of replies as long as they are visible. Please note that Creators have the option to share your reply on their Public Story.
How do I subscribe to a Creator?
You can subscribe to a Creator by going to their Public Profile and tapping on the purple box under the “Add” button.
How do I manage Creator Subscriptions from my profile?
If you see Creator Subscriptions on your profile, tap it to view subscription benefits, renew an active or expired subscription, and browse popular creators. You cannot cancel a subscription from your profile. To cancel, go to Settings > Creator Subscriptions > Billing.
How can I find Creators to subscribe to?
You can discover popular creators with subscriptions on the Creator Subscriptions page. Open it from your profile if you see Creator Subscriptions, or go to Settings > Creator Subscriptions and tap Subscribe. Then scroll through the Popular Creators section.
How do I cancel a Creator Subscription?
You can cancel a Creator Subscription by going to Settings > Creator Subscriptions > Billing. Tap the creator’s subscription, then tap Cancel Subscription. You will retain benefits until the end of your billing cycle, and your subscription will expire once your billing cycle ends.
Please Note: Billing under Creator Subscriptions in Settings is available if you've subscribed to a Creator before.
