How do I comment on a Spotlight post with a Snap Comment?
You can comment on some Spotlight posts with a Snap. These Snap Comments are also Spotlight posts.
To post a Snap Comment:
- While watching a Spotlight post, open the comments
- Tap the Camera icon
- Take a video Snap and post it!
- Note that this Snap Comment will also become a new Spotlight post, so it may appear in other parts of the app
After you post, you’ll return to the Comments tray. Your Snap will appear as a Comment in the tray. Tap the thumbnail to view it, or press and hold to see other options like sharing or deleting.
Please Note:
- Snap Comments may be reviewed before they show up for other Snapchatters
- In some cases, your Snap Comment may need to be approved by the creator of the Spotlight you're commenting on
How do I quote a text comment in my Snap Comment?
- Tap the Camera icon when replying to a text comment, or press and hold any text comment and tap ‘Quote Comment’. The quoted comment will be overlaid on the Camera screen as a sticker.
- Capture a video to share your reaction or response
- Drag or resize the sticker, then finish editing your Snap
- When you’re ready, post your video. Note that this Snap Comment will also become a new Spotlight post, so it may appear in other parts of the app.
