How do I control my Snapchat notifications on iOS?

Is your phone blowing up with too many notifications? 💣 You can always turn notifications for Snapchat off (and back on again) at any time!

To turn off notifications for Snapchat


  1. Tap your profile icon at the top
  2. Tap ⚙ at the top to open Settings
  3. Tap ‘Notifications’
  4. Tap the toggle switch for each notification type that you want to turn off

If you want to turn certain notifications back on, just tap the toggle switch again.

To control notifications for Stories that you follow


  1. Tap your profile icon at the top
  2. Tap ⚙ at the top to open Settings
  3. Tap ‘Notifications’
  4. Tap ‘Manage Story Notifications’
  5. Tap the name of each Snapchatter that you want Story notifications from and tap 'Done'

Please Note: to control notifications from Stories, you’ll need to have notifications for Snapchat enabled in your device’s settings!
