You can turn Snapchat notifications on or off at any time.
To turn off notifications for Snapchat…
- Tap your profile icon at the top
- Tap ⚙️ at the top to open Settings
- Tap ‘Notifications’
- Tap the toggle switch for each notification type that you want to turn off
If you want to turn certain notifications back on, just tap the toggle switch again.
To control notifications for Stories that you follow…
- Tap your profile icon at the top
- Tap ⚙️ at the top to open Settings
- Tap ‘Notifications’
- Tap ‘Manage Story Notifications’
- Tap the name of each Snapchatter that you want Story notifications from and tap 'Done'
Please Note: to control notifications from Stories, you’ll need to have notifications for Snapchat enabled in your device’s settings!
