How to Enable Snapchat Filters in Settings

If Filters aren’t working correctly, make sure that you enable them in your Snapchat Settings and enable location services on your device.

To enable Filters in Snapchat…

  1. Tap ⚙️ in My Profile to open Settings
  2. Tap 'Manage' under 'Additional services'
  3. Toggle 'Filters' on

To enable location services for Snapchat on your device…

For iOS devices:

  1. Open your device’s Settings
  2. Tap ‘Privacy’
  3. Tap ‘Location services’ and turn them on for Snapchat

For Android devices:

  1. Open your device’s Settings
  2. Tap ‘Location’
  3. Tap ‘Turn on’
