We reserve the right to revoke verification or Snap Star status at our sole and absolute discretion and without advance notice.
Reasons Snap Star status may be revoked include (but are not limited to):
- Violating Snapchat’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Engaging in dangerous behaviour that puts others at risk of harm.
- Promoting content, accounts, applications or websites (through links, mentions or otherwise) that would violate our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Attempting to buy/sell followers or artificially increase follower count.
- Harassing Snapchat employees.
- Consistently posting content that does not adhere to Snapchat’s Content Guidelines for Recommendation Eligibility (especially: overtly suggestive imagery).
- Posting content that no longer represents the type of content under which the account was originally verified.
- Posting content from third parties that you do not own or meaningfully transform.
- Impersonating another person or misrepresenting the identity of the account holder.
- Transferring the account to a new owner.
We regularly conduct audits of our Snap Star programme and rely on our editorial discretion to determine which accounts remain in the programme.
Accounts that violate our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines may be terminated, in addition to being removed from the Snap Star programme. In some cases, off-platform behaviour that is inconsistent with Snap’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines may disqualify you from Snap Star eligibility.
