How do I reactivate my Snapchat account?

I deleted my account and want to reactivate it

To reactivate your account, just log in to the Snapchat app with the username of the account that you want to bring back. You have 30 days to reactivate a Snapchat account that has been deactivated before it is scheduled for permanent deletion.

Please Note: You cannot change your password or use your email address/phone number to log in to your account while it’s deactivated. Only you can reactivate your deactivated account; Snapchat Support cannot reactivate it for you. Permanently deleted accounts cannot be reactivated at all.

If you’re located in India and delete your account, it will deactivate for 30 days, during which time it can still be reactivated. After 180 more days, your account will be permanently deleted, in adherence with local guidelines.

What happens to my data when I deactivate my account?

After you deactivate or delete your account, you will have 30 days to download your data. If you do not log in or download your data within the first 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted after 60 days.

If you’re located in India, you will have 30 days to download your data after your account has been deactivated or deleted. If you do not log in or download your data within the first 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted after 210 days.
