How to Save a Snap or Story to Memories

Save a New Snap to Memories 📾

To save a Snap to Memories, create a Snap and tap the Snapchat download icon at the bottom.

Save a Story to Memories 📓

You can save an entire Story or just a single Snap from it!

To save an entire Story to Memories


  1. Tap your Bitmoji or Story icon at the top to go to My Profile
  2. Tap the Snapchat download icon next to the Story

To save just one Snap from a Story to Memories


  1. Tap your Bitmoji or Story icon at the top to go to My Profile
  2. Tap the Story icon to view it
  3. Press and hold on the Snap you want to Save and tap 'Save Snap'

Please Note: If you’re part of someone else’s Story, you can only save the Snaps that you’ve added.
