How do I unblock a friend on Snapchat?
You can unblock someone at any time from your Settings.
To unblock a friend, follow the steps below in the Snapchat app…
- Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen
- Tap ⚙️ to open Settings
- Scroll down and tap ‘Blocked Users'
- Tap ✖️ next to a name to unblock that Snapchatter
Please note: Unblocking someone does not add them back as a friend.
How do I add someone back after unblocking them?
To be friends again, search for their username and tap '+ Add'. You’ll be friends once they add you back.
Until then, your privacy settings decide whether they can contact you or view your Story. By default, only friends you’ve added can do either.
