If auto-saved is enabled, Snaps sent to My Story will be automatically saved to Memories.
To turn on auto-save...
- Tap ⚙️ in My Profile to open Settings
- Scroll down to "App & Privacy" and tap 'My App'
- Under "Customize My App," tap 'Memories'
- Tap 'Auto-Save My Story Snaps'
⚠️ Important: Always make sure your Memories are completely backed up before you log out of Snapchat, log in to Snapchat on a different device or uninstall Snapchat!
