If your Snaps won't send or load, try the following troubleshooting steps:
Update Snapchat
Update Snapchat to the latest version from the App Store on iOS, or the Google Play Store on Android on both your device and the recipient's.
Check Your Internet Connection
Move to an area with better mobile service or connect to a stable Wi-Fi network.
Clear Cache
To clear your cache on iOS…
- Tap the gear icon ⚙️ in My Profile to open Settings
- Scroll down and tap ‘Clear Data’
- Tap ‘Clear Cache’
- Confirm by tapping ‘Clear’
To clear your cache on Android…
- Tap the gear icon ⚙️ in My Profile to open Settings
- Scroll down and tap ‘Clear Cache’
- Confirm by tapping ‘Continue’
Restart Device
Fully turn off your device for one full minute, and then turn it back on.
