Something is broken with my Snapchat app. What can I do?

If a Snapchat feature isn’t working the way you’re used to, here are a few tips.

  • 👻 Update your Snapchat app to the latest version in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
  • 🔁 Restart your Snapchat app. Completely close the app and open it again.
  • 📱 Restart your device. Turn the device off and on again.
  • 📶 Check your Internet connection. Switch between mobile data and Wi-Fi. If that solves the issue, please contact your data or internet service provider for more support.

I tried troubleshooting the issue, but my app still isn’t working normally.

If you’re still having problems, please report the bug so we can investigate.

  1. Tap ⚙️ in ‘My Profile’ to open the Settings menu
  2. Scroll down and tap ‘Bugs and Suggestions’
  3. Choose ‘Report a Bug’ and follow the steps in the app

My Snapchat app is crashing.

If the whole app is down or crashing, you can still report the issue on our support site.
