How do the location badges work on Snap Map?
If you share your location on Snap Map, you may see a special badge for your Bitmoji on the Map when it looks like you’re at locations like home or school.
Where can I see the badges?
You might see a badge…
- Next to a friend’s name on the Map
- In the Map footer (Friend Finder)
- In Friends Feed
- Next to a friend’s location in a Chat header
How do I turn the badges on or off?
- Go to your Profile
- Tap the Settings icon
- Scroll down to the “App & Privacy” section, then tap ‘My Privacy & Data’
- Tap ‘Map’
- Toggle a badge on or off
Please Note:
- Only friends you share your location with can see your badges — and you’ll only see theirs if they share their location with you
- You can’t pick or edit a school location
