Snap Promote lets eligible creators send a Snap directly to their followers’ Chat feeds. You can use it to share announcements, updates, or content with your community.
Who can use Snap Promote?
Snap Promote is currently available to select Snap Star creators with 50,000 or more followers in supported regions. You must be located in a supported region to access the feature.
How do I send a broadcast?
- Go to your Profile and tap ‘Snap Promote’
- Choose your goal — select ‘Broadcast to Followers’
- Record a new Snap using the Camera, or select an existing Spotlight or Story Snap
- Add an optional chat message to go along with your Snap
- Set your budget — the estimated reach updates as you adjust your spend
- Review your promotion details and tap ‘Promote’
How does budget and reach work?
You choose how much to spend on each broadcast. A higher budget increases the number of followers your Snap can reach. The estimated cost and reach update in real time as you adjust your budget.
Will my broadcast reach all my followers?
Your broadcast appears in your followers’ Chat feeds. Delivery depends on follower activity and is not guaranteed to reach every follower.
By default, replies are turned off. You can enable replies when creating your broadcast if you want to hear back from your audience.
How do I see my broadcast results?
After your broadcast is delivered, you can view delivered reach in the Snap Promote insights screen on your Profile.
Important: Broadcasts are delivered through the Chat feed but are not the same as direct messages. They expire like other Snaps and are not guaranteed to reach all followers.
