How do I play a game with online matchmaking?
Some games have a ‘Play Online’ button that can match you into a public game session. You can opt-in by following these steps:
- Open a game from the ‘Games’ tab or Lens Explorer. The game will open in solo mode.
- Tap ‘Play Online’
- Review the opt-in message, then choose:
- ‘Continue’ to start matching with other players in the game and join a session when one is found
- ‘Not Now’ to stay offline
What can other players see if I play online?
When you play online, your initials, Bitmoji, and in-game activity can be visible to other players, whether you’re friends or not. Your username and last name are not shared.
