How do I add an AI label when I post to Spotlight?
If your Spotlight Snap includes content made with AI, turn on ‘Add AI Label’ before you submit.
- Create or upload your Snap for Spotlight
- On the New Spotlight Post screen, turn on ‘Add AI Label’
- Finish your description, topics, or other options
- Submit your Spotlight post
Please Note: ‘Add AI Label’ is off by default.
What do viewers see?
If a Spotlight Snap has an AI label, viewers may see ‘Made with AI’ on the Snap.
An AI label can also appear when Snap identifies AI-generated content, even if the creator didn’t turn on ‘Add AI Label’.
Is this the same as other AI indicators on Snapchat?
No. Snapchat also uses other AI indicators, like sparkle icons, Context Cards, and the Snap Ghost with sparkles watermark on some exported AI images. Learn more in Generative AI on Snapchat.
