What is Actionmoji?
Actionmoji shows what your Bitmoji is doing on the Snap Map. Actionmoji are Bitmoji poses or activities that appear on Snap Map to give friends a quick sense of what you might be doing.
Actionmoji are based on context signals like general area, time of day, or movement. Individual icons (like a car, plane, or suitcase) also represent broad themes such as traveling or being on the move.
Why is my Bitmoji showing an activity I’m not doing?
If your Bitmoji shows the wrong activity, try these steps:
- Force close Snapchat and open it again so your location can update
- If your Bitmoji still shows the wrong activity, restart your phone
You can also choose your own pose in ‘My Pose.’
What does the ‘now’ label mean next to the battery status on my Bitmoji?
The ‘now’ label next to a battery percentage means Snap Map location information is current.
How do I change my Bitmoji’s appearance on the Snap Map?
To manually change your Bitmoji, tap on yourself on the Map. This will open ‘My Appearance.’ From there, open the Pets, Cars, and Home tray to change your pet, car, or home, or use the other My Appearance options.
In ‘My Pose,’ any pose you choose lasts on the Map for four hours.
Please Note: Whoever you share your location with will be able to see your Bitmoji on the Map.
What if I don’t have a Bitmoji?
If you haven’t made a Bitmoji yet, you’ll appear on the Map as a blank Bitmoji outline. To show your own Bitmoji, create a Bitmoji or link your Bitmoji with Snapchat.
