If some of your Memories appear empty or grey, then you may need to update Snapchat and free up storage space on your device.
To update Snapchat and free up storage, first make sure to update Snapchat to the latest version from the App Store on iOS, or the Google Play Store on Android
To free up storage space on your device on iOS…
- Tap the gear icon ⚙️ in My Profile to open Settings
- Scroll down to "App & Privacy" and tap 'My Privacy & Data'
- Under "Manage My Data," tap 'Clear Data'
- Tap 'Clear Cache'
- Tap 'Clear'
(Clearing your cache won’t delete any of your Memories, Snaps, or Chats.) - Turn off your device completely for one minute and turn it back on
