How do I link or unlink my Bitmoji with Snapchat?

If you already have a Bitmoji and want to link it to Snapchat…

1. Download the latest versions of Snapchat and Bitmoji on your phone
2. Open the Bitmoji app
3. Tap on the gear icon in the top-right corner
4. Scroll down to find ‘Link to Snapchat’
5. Tap ‘Continue’ to link your Bitmoji account to Snapchat!
6. If you have a Bitmoji linked to your account already, you will not be able to link a different Bitmoji account until you unlink your accounts.

Please Note: If your Bitmoji account was created through Snapchat login, it becomes a standalone Bitmoji account tied to your email after you unlink. You can’t add or use a phone number to log in to that Bitmoji account. Use the email on the account to sign in or recover access.

To remove your Bitmoji from your Snapchat account…

1. Tap the Profile icon at the top to go to your Profile screen
2. Tap on the gear icon in the top-right corner
3. Scroll down and tap ‘Bitmoji’
4. Tap ‘Remove My Bitmoji’

Please Note: If you created a Bitmoji through Snapchat, unlinking will permanently delete your Bitmoji avatar and all fashion items saved in your Closet, including items that have been purchased.
