How to Turn on Smart Backup for Memories in Snapchat

When Smart Backup is enabled, your Memories may back up over mobile data when Wi-Fi is unavailable.

To turn on Smart Backup:

  1. Tap ⚙️ in My Profile to open Settings
  2. Scroll down to "App & Privacy" and tap 'My App'
  3. Tap 'Memories'
  4. Toggle on 'Smart Backup'

⚠️ Important: Always make sure your Memories are completely backed up before you log out of Snapchat, log into Snapchat on a different device, or uninstall Snapchat!
