Family Center is a tool for parents and caregivers and their teens. If you’re unable to access Family Center, it may be because you fall outside of our age-gate for parents and caregivers, which is restricted to 18 and older, or outside our age-gate for teens, which is restricted to ages 13-17. Parents or caregivers under 18 will not be able to send Family Center invites, and Snapchatters 18 and older will not be able to accept Family Center invites.
As a reminder, it's against our Terms of Service for people under the minimum age in their jurisdiction to create a Snapchat account. The minimum age to use Snapchat is 13 years old, but some regions may have a higher minimum age. If you have questions about age requirements where you live, check your local laws or ask a parent or guardian for help.
